The Arora Group proudly announced that once again they have exceeded expectations and raised £1.5m at the sixth Arora Ball held at their prestigious Intercontinental hotel in London.
On 9th November, a charity ball was held to raise funds for two incredible world leading charities; Royal Marsden and Save the Children. These charities support children and young people going through the toughest times, giving them hope and striving to create a lasting chance for generations to come.
The theme, dedicated to children was a truly mesmerising and immersive experience of a carnival fiesta. The room, filled with a sea of red vibrancy, symbolic of our confidence of what we believe in, created exhilarating energy.
With the occasion being hosted by global star Peter Andre, the stage provided an abundance of breathtaking entertainment. His dazzling performances alongside the ‘So Far Band’ from Paris created magic on the dancefloor for everyone that attended the evening.
Following this, there was a speech from the founder, Sunita Arora, who articulated the journey and success of the Arora Foundation. She was joined by Dr Raj Arora who proudly echoed these sentiments.
The audience also heard from other key speakers; main headline sponsor; Rishi Khosla of OakNorth Bank and Directors of both charities; Dr Emma Kipps (Royal Marsden) and Claire Sanford (Save the Children).
The support received in the form of donations, table sales and auction prizes were truly phenomenal. Guests bid for exceptional prizes in the live auction, which was hosted by renowned auctioneer, Charlie Ross. Prizes included a week on the super yacht Titania, a beautiful diamond ring and the chance to play golf in St Andrew’s with legend, Gary Player. Guests also had the opportunity to bid for unique prizes like ‘ceremony of Trooping the Colour’ and the ‘Grammy Awards in LA’.
Surinder, Sunita and family extended their heartful thanks to all sponsors, suppliers, friends, and supporters and said the Arora Ball remains the very heartbeat of the group’s philanthropic goals providing nominated charities with a platform to achieve local, national and global support.
