Arora Charitable Foundation raises over £1 million at the Arora Ball 2018
The Arora Charitable Foundation announced today that it raised a gross total of £1.1 million at its fourth annual Arora Ball at InterContinental London - The O2 on Saturday 27 October, bringing the total amount raised by the foundation to £3 million since 2012. The money raised will support two of the UK’s leading cancer charities - Macmillan Cancer Support and Royal Marsden Cancer Charity
The glittering black tie event, at which actor and television presenter, Christopher Biggins and Sir Cliff Richard OBE were among the list of special guests, included a champagne reception, sumptuous three-course dinner, exclusive charity auction led by Charlie Ross and a special performance by So Far.
Sunita Arora, Co-Founder of the Arora Charitable Foundation, commented: “We are delighted to announce that the Arora Ball was such a great success and we’re very proud that the money raised will support two of the leading UK cancer charities. The Arora Ball is a real highlight in the industry calendar as it gives us an opportunity to support the nominated causes, while enjoying an evening of fine dining, entertainment and illustrious company. We would like to extend our grateful thanks to our friends and supporters for their generosity in helping us reach this incredible target.”

The Arora Ball is a flagship event in the charity sector and has been wonderful collaboration between the Arora Foundation, The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity and Macmillan Cancer Support. Every penny that is donated will help Macmillan Cancer Support continue to provide vital services for people living with cancer.”
