The Arora Group (“Arora” or the “Group”) is pleased to announce the completion of a 1,000 space high quality car park, near Terminal 4 and the cargo area and within close proximity to London Heathrow’s Terminals 2 and 3. Built by Grove Developments, the construction division of the Arora Group, the site enhances Arora’s already significant presence at the airport and its surrounding areas.
Located on Sealand Road, the car park covers 306,234sqft of lettable area, and is spread over five floors, boasting over 1000 parking spaces. Integrating smart technology, the site features state of the art Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) parking technology, capable of remotely managing 1500 car movements in 60 minutes. Additionally, the car park incorporates advanced energy management features including numerous electrical charging points. The site, managed by the Group for several years, was formerly a ground level car park.
The site will be let to an aviation business (unconfirmed) and global airline caterer Gate Gourmet, whose offices abut the site. The completion of the car park follows on from the Group’s announcements last year of three new hotels at the London airport, and adds to five other projects being developed by Grove Development in the London Heathrow area. The addition of this site further strengthens the Group’s wider presence at key transport hubs across the country which, in addition to Heathrow, includes Gatwick and Stansted.
