The Arora Group, owner and operator of the InterContinental London - The O2, are proud to be providing free accommodation to the NHS teams at The Nightingale Hospital at Excel London. It’s our way of saying “thank you” to these courageous, selfless men and women.
We’re grateful to all our Arora team members and suppliers for volunteering their time and supplies to help host and accommodate the NHS frontline staff.
The hotel is one of our flagship hotels, and has 453 bedrooms and 40 serviced apartments. It’s been home to many conferences and events but right now is best used to provide comfortable and convenient accommodation to those at the forefront of the battle against coronavirus.
Surinder Arora, Founder and Executive Chairman, Arora Group said: "These very brave and dedicated NHS staff are putting their lives on the line, and if we provide a level of comfort to them for when they must rest, that’s the least we can do.”
Natalie Forrest, Chief Operating Officer, NHS Nightingale Hospital London, said: “We are so grateful to the Arora Group and the management team and staff at the Intercontinental Hotel, O2, for opening up their facilities, at no cost, to the NHS Nightingale Hospital at this time. It’s of enormous value to our hard working staff, many of whom are living away from their families as they care for our patients. Thank you on behalf of everyone at NHS Nightingale for this kind and generous gesture.”
Stay Home. Protect the NHS. Save Lives.
