InterContinental London – The O2 Establishes Transport Partnerships to Offer Seamless Connectivity for Guests

InterContinental London – The O2 has collaborated with London transport providers to offer guests seamless connectivity in and around the Greenwich Peninsula and into central London. Partnerships include TFL (Transport for London), MBNA Thames Clippers and the Thames RIB Experience, offering multiple options for seamless travel to and from the new luxury hotel.

In collaboration with its local partners, InterContinental London – The O2 has agreed extended operational hours on the Emirates Air Line cable car for groups travelling late between the hotel and neighbouring exhibition centre, ExCeL London. The hotel can also arrange for a fast, private riverboat services with Thames RIB Experience for guests travelling back into central London.

In addition, guests will soon be able to take advantage of new ‘Night Tube’ hours on the Jubilee line, commencing 7th October 2016. The hotel also offers guests complimentary chauffeur services to and from nearby North Greenwich Station, just 400m from the hotel.

Guests staying at the InterContinental London – The O2 can look forward to the high-speed CrossRail services into Canary Wharf – just one stop from the hotel – which is due to commence in 2017 and finalised by 2019. In addition, automated driver-less vehicles from GATEway (Greenwich Automated Transport Environment) are in planning to offer quick and easy access around the Peninsula.

The InterContinental London – The O2 boasts 453 guest rooms, a luxury Spa with 17m pool and eight treatment rooms as well as a collection of London’s finest destination restaurants and bars, including The Peninsula fine dining restaurant, an informal open-kitchen Market Brasserie, the Clipper Bar, rooftop sky bar Eighteen and ground floor Meridian Lounge with riverside terrace. The hotel offers 240 car parking spaces in their private onsite car park and additional overflow parking is available at The O2 arena.
