Newly Refurbished Arora Heathrow opens for business

Newly Refurbished Arora Heathrow opens for business

The four-star Arora Hotel Heathrow has just completed a major six-month refurbishment programme of public areas, bedrooms and meeting facilities. The major £1 million investment has firmly put the hotel on the map as one of the most comfortable at London Heathrow Airport.

Steven van Herwijnen, General Manager of the Arora Hotel Heathrow said: "The refurbishment has made the hotel a really well placed destination for business travellers while continuing to satisfy our very significant crew business. We received so many enquiries, bookings and positive feedback that we felt the time was right to extend our traditional Arora welcome to an even wider audience! Steven went on to say: "I firmly feel we have struck the right balance between crew and corporate guests that results in a buzzy, yet relaxing environment for all visitors to the hotel."

Sleep in luxury

The hotel's complement of 350 luxury climate-controlled bedrooms are triple-glazed and have been extensively refurbished. They feature ever-so-comfortable queen-sized beds, for a perfect nights sleep. Other facilities include stunning granite bathrooms, electronic safe and broadband connection, as well as full tea and coffee making facilities. Many rooms, including the hotel’s 25 newly introduced Premier bedrooms; boast panoramic views of Heathrow Airport, evoking the thrill and excitement of air travel.

Time to meet

A total of six fully refurbished meeting rooms, including the highly flexible Manhattan Suite that can accommodate up to 120 delegates, make the Arora Hotel Heathrow a great place for business meetings and events. Each room features state-of-the-art audiovisual technology, such as SMART boards and the latest projectors - all provided free of charge. For meeting planners wanting to add extra impact, there is the top floor Boardroom; accommodating up to 20 delegates the Boardroom commands spectacular views over Heathrow Airport on the one side and across London to the East.

Capital dining at Heathrow

Smith’s Bar & Kitchen is perfect for an informal meeting, lunch or a relaxing after work drink. With a fantastic atmosphere, fully-stocked bar and top quality food, it turns the tables on the common perception of airport bars and restaurants. The menu features specialities from around the world, ranging from Smith’s signature burger to an Asian spice-rubbed chicken breast - and the menu is constantly changing to reflect the season. With a carefully selected wine list, the menu is honestly and refreshingly priced.

The sleek contemporary styled bar includes an international range of beers, as well as those hailing from closer to home. The vibrant atmosphere of the restaurant carries through here, in its cool, naturally-lit atmosphere. The bar is the ideal place to relax and socialise, where you can catch up on the latest live sporting action on the big screen, enjoy a quiet game of pool or just simply take it easy.

Keeping in touch… & keeping fit

For checking those all-important emails, or just surfing the net, all the hotel’s public areas are WiFi equipped, and for those without their computer, there are terminals with broadband internet access in the main lounge. The hotel's health suite offers a fully equipped gymnasium including fan rowers or the computerised treadmills. Even more perfect is the fact that it is complimentary for all hotel guests.

Great location…

Regular public transportation runs around the clock so there is never a fear of missing your flight - a bus stop is conveniently located directly opposite the hotel and it takes only 5 minutes to reach the heart of Heathrow. From there it is possible to connect to the London underground or catch the Heathrow Express into the capital in only 20 minutes.
