Renaissance London Heathrow Announce New General Manager

The Renaissance London Heathrow, owned and operated by the Arora Group, today announced the appointment of Ryan Nicholls as General Manager of the luxury 4-star hotel.

Ryan joins the hotel from his previous role as Projects and Hotel Manager at Sofitel London Heathrow T5, also part of the Arora Group’s collection of luxury hotels. Having joined the Group in 2010, Ryan was instrumental in the pre-opening phase of the Group’s landmark hotel, InterContinental London – The O2, as pre-opening Project and Hotel Manager.

Before joining the Arora Group, Ryan began his career and spent over seven years in various roles within the Principal Hotel Company’s portfolio (formerly De Vere Venues and Principal Hayley), latterly having held the position of General Manager at Ettington Chase. Ryan’s career in hospitality within the UK began in 2003 as M&E Operations Manager at the Village Hotel Swindon (formerly part of the then De Vere Venues’ portfolio).

Commenting on his appointment, Ryan said: “I’m really excited to be taking on the role of General Manager at the Renaissance London Heathrow and please to work with a dynamic, driven and successful team. Having worked for the Arora Group for over six years, I have a thorough understanding of the brand’s ethos and the values they hold, so I am looking forward to continuing to build on the hotel’s proven success.”
