HOLIDAY EXTRAS CUSTOMER' AWARDS 2011

Sofitel London Gatwick was named Winner in the Best Airport Hotel category of the Holiday Extras Customers’ Awards 2011 last Thursday night.

Between February and July 2011, more than 66,000 HolidayExtras.com customers cast their votes in the awards, now running for the third consecutive year.

Holidaymakers travelling with the UK's leading travel add-ons company rated their air travel experience, voting for numerous airlines, UK airports and hundreds of airport hotels, lounges and car parks. Two new categories, Best Travel Guide Publisher and Most Inspirational Travel Film, were open to anyone for voting.

The UK travel industry’s accolades were presented by leading travel writer and TV personality Simon Calder at an exclusive event on Thursday 15th September at London’s Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA).
