TOP 40 LUXURY HOTELS IN THE UK/IRELAND

London Heathrow, 26th October 2011 – Sofitel London Heathrow has reinforced its reputation as one of the best airport hotels now being listed in the Top 40 Luxury Hotels in the UK/ Ireland by Condé Nast Traveler, a US Magazine published by Condé Nast.

The issue, which hit newsstands yesterday, ranks the hotel at 35th along with many other well known luxury brand hotels. The hotel is the only airport hotel on the list as well as being the largest property boasting 605 guest rooms and suites.

These rankings come from more than 8 million votes cast in the annual Readers’ Choice Awards survey. These awards reflect the combined opinions of 28,876 Condé Nast Traveler readers rating the cities, islands, and hotels they visited in the past year, and the airlines and cruise ships they travelled with.
