The team in The Grill, at Arora Hotel Gatwick/Crawley have held onto their AA rosette for a consecutive fourth year.
Only 10% of restaurants nationwide are of a standard that is one rosette and above and, The Grill is the only restaurant in Crawley to have achieved this status.
Executive Head Chef, Tony Staples, puts this success down to two things – “consistency and teamwork”.
“Our strengths are in using good quality ingredients and having a team of chefs who are dedicated to the job and are always looking to improves themselves,” he says. “We all have an input into the dishes and we all work together and collaborate on creating new, exciting menus.”
According to the AA Rosette Consumer guidelines, one AA rosette is awarded to establishments which are serving food `prepared with care, understanding and skill, using good quality ingredients. These restaurants will be achieving standards that standout in their local area’. The Grill is the only fine-dining restaurant to be awarded this status in the Crawley region.
